Laser Therapy

Light therapy via laser or LED is a highly effective treatment to reduce pain and stimulate healing. It uses light in the red and near-red (infrared) portion of the spectrum. These wavelengths of light used have the effect of increasing energy in the cells of the tissues, accelerating the healing process. It has use in nearly any musculoskeletal condition such as sprains, strains, tendonitis, disk and nerve problems and heel spurs.

The therapy is an extremely safe, as well as painless procedure. Patients typically feel nothing but a mild sensation of warmth.  Typically treatment takes from 5 to 10 minutes. Most patients have their optimal response somewhere between 6 and 12 sessions.
